Grew up in Nanjing, China, Leslie is interested in the role of law in the protection of minority rights and educational equity across countries. She enjoys exploring how US-China relations evolved by engaging with different local communities. Last summer, she worked for New York Legal Assistance Group to provide safety planning and filing for divorce for victims of domestic violence. She has also interned at American Enterprise Institute. Outside of work, she is a fan of stage performance and used to be the President of Duke Chinese Theater.
