Sarah Hinterkoerner is a junior majoring in global health and public policy. Originally from Austria, she spent 13 years of her life growing up in Hong Kong. This environment furthered the interest in US-China relations and had a major influence on her applying to Duke Kunshan University. While her academic focus is firmly on the health sector, she continues to pursue her passion in global affairs and is currently actively involved in health-related research in China. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
