Kyle Chan
Publicity Member
Class of 2026, UNC
Biostatistics Major

Kyle is a freshman student at UNC majoring in Biostatistics. Having lived in Raleigh, Vancouver, Beijing, and Hong Kong, Kyle values cultural exchange and strives to share perspectives of a global citizen. In high school, he enjoyed conducting independent research on IR topics relating to East Asia and Africa with the mentorship of a Dartmouth professor, as well as establishing a language learning platform that fosters communication between English-speaking and Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking students. He would like to continue furthering intellectual conversations on the dynamic U.S.-China relations through CLS. In particular, he is interested in international economics, education policies, and Mainland China-Hong Kong relations. In his free time, Kyle enjoys watching Chinese Historical Dramas, traveling, and playing the cello and piano.
