SUMMIT INFORMATION

Who

When

As a delegate, you will be joined by students and scholars from universities across the United States. In addition to Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill delegates, students from from more than 30 schools, including Yale, Harvard, Columbia, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, NYU-Shanghai, and Tsinghua have joined us in the past.

Due to limited availability, participation in the Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit is selective. We invite successful applicants to join the Summit free-of-charge*. As a delegate, you will also have access to an exclusive CLS alumni network.

*Participation in the 2019 Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit is free. However, delegates will be responsible for their own transportation to/from North Carolina and some select meals
Start: Friday March 22nd 2019 Afternoon
End: Sunday, March 24, 2019 Afternoon

The three-day conference will consist of keynotes, seminars, networking, and social events throughout the day. You will have the opportunity to learn from the best minds in East-West relations, and also get the opportunity to interact with them in an intimate setting throughout the Summit. Detailed day-to-day agenda will be released at a later date.

Where

The Summit will take place at various locations on the Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill campus. Throughout the conference, you will also have the opportunity to explore the campuses and its surrounding areas.

You may arrange your own accommodation, but delegates have the opportunity to stay at our sponsor hotel at a discounted rate. There will be also be a morning and evening shuttle to/from the Summit venue from the sponsor hotel.

How

Delegates will be responsible for their own transportation to/from the Summit on March 22nd and March 24th. We have made the Summit completely free to attend, however we do not cover delegates' air fare and transportation to/from the airport.

*Duke-Kunshan University Students have the opportunity to receive institutional sponsorship for air fare and accommodation. Please contact us for full details..
